Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen acquires work by Zanele Muholi
We are pleased to announce that Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen has acquired a work by Zanele Muholi for its collection.
The work comes from the series Somnyama Ngonyama (Hail the Dark Lioness), an ongoing series in which the artist turns the camera on themselves. It is currently on view in our exhibition Hlanganani (‘Unite’).
We congratulate Zanele Muholi and the museum on this acquisition.
