Amsterdam Art Week 2021
This week the annual Amsterdam Art Week is back with a very special edition. This year’s edition has been moved from November to June and extended to a full Amsterdam Art Week, taking place from June 17 till June 27. For ten days, the city will be buzzing with exhibitions, performances, screenings, debates, gallery tours and open studios.
Galerie Ron Mandos will be participating again this year, with adjusted opening hours. Visitors can map their own route and visit all participating galleries, in accordance with the corona regulations. Click on the button below to reserve a time slot for a visit to our gallery.
During Amsterdam Art Week, Galerie Ron Mandos will be presenting Mirrors / Mirages, an exhibition that delves into the ability of light to both reflect and refract reality. The works by Lieven Hendriks, James Turrell, Ann Veronica Janssens, Brigitte Kowanz, Iván Navarro, Troika, Sarah van Sonsbeeck, and Jonny Niesche show how light is both generated, dispersed and obscured. Through apertures and mirrors we are invited into worlds that intertwine the material and the virtual, the inner and the outer self. As these worlds converge, our understanding of reality begins to shift.Time slot | AAW
